Should We Blame the FDA for Failed Dieting or Failed Weight Loss?

The food labeling industry is allowed a 20% margin of error by the FDA. When you are eating a 500 calorie slice of cake, you may be in for a surprise that the slice might be as high as 600 calories but only labeled as 500 calories.

If you are dieting, and counting every calorie that you put into your body, start applying more common sense and think again.

Don’t let the food industry and the FDA with its way with 20% margin of error trick you into eating more than necessary. Let your body decide. When you are satiated and not feeling hungry, it is okay to save untouched food portions for another time. Don’t stuff your face because a certain food is labeled as zero calories. It is a lie, duh.
